Website Block is a small but useful application that allows you to block websites. It is not required to be an expert computer user to use this program. You only have to add the website's URL that will be blocked to a list by typing its entire name, e.g. "domainname.com"; or you can enter part of the website's address, e.g. "game” and all the websites that include that word won't be opened. After that, you need to restart Internet Explorer in order to block the websites on the list - the program includes an option that allows you to close all IE windows opened.
If you try to open a blocked website in Internet Explorer, you will see a blank page, but you can also set the program to redirect you to a blocked info page. The program can be executed in password protection mode. This requires you to enter a password every time you run the program. It can also be password-protected from uninstallation.
The only disadvantage I have found is that the program works with no web browser other than Microsoft Internet Explorer. Also, the trial version can be used only for 30 days.
